The Newport Carers Forum hold regular coffee mornings, meetings and activities across Newport as well as providing peer support and updating carer information in GP surgeries.

Parkinson's UK - Newport branch
Information and support for those with Parkinson's, their carers, family and friends.
Activities include outings, speakers and fund-raising events and a monthly meeting with information and a chat over a cup of tea.

Parents for Change and The Meet
Support for parents and carers of disabled children and young adults with a social group for 15-25 year olds called The Meet every other Wednesday at The Drago Lounge in Newport.
There are also regular events and days out. The Meet aims to promote friendship, social interaction and independence in an age appropriate environment.

Newport Autism Support Group
A support group for parents, carers and grandparents of children or young people who have an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in Newport.
Meetings take place on the first Thursday of every month, 10am-12pm at Serennu Children's Centre with various speakers.

Disabled Supporters Association (DSA)
Supports disabled Newport County AFC supporters and their carers by providing match day wheelchairs, wheelchair covers, blankets and ear defenders (£5 deposit).
A limited number of accessible car parking places can be reserved and the DSA can discuss and support with any worries you may have about attending matches.

Chance Meetings Wales
A relaxed and friendly group of between 10 and 16 young adults with additional needs which offers a chance to make friends and socialise. Play pool, snooker or table tennis, try arts and crafts, jigsaws or board games.
We try and cater for everyone's needs, meeting every Thursday at the Iscoed Tafarn in Underwood from 6.30pm to 8.30pm with £2 payable at the start.

A friendly and supportive carers group that meets on the first Tuesday of the month between 2pm and 4pm at 47 Duckpool Road or between 6pm and 7.30pm at the Riverfront Theatre cafe.

A parent-led support group based at Serennu Children’s Centre Newport which offers friendship and support to families for children with Downs Syndrome.
Support is offered from the early days, either ante-natally or shortly after birth when the child is first diagnosed.
Meet on the first Tuesday of the month between 10am and 1pm at Serennu Children’s Centre.
