The five Gwent local authorities are exploring the feasibility of introducing more electric vehicle charging points across the region.
Providing electric vehicle charging points will help work towards a greener, cleaner environment. Each council is keen to hear the views of its residents to help them plan future provision.
Councils are keen to ask whether residents would consider changing to an electric vehicle if more charging points were available within their county borough.
They are particularly keen to hear from residents who have or are considering an electric car but who cannot park or charge off-street near their property.
To give their views residents throughout Gwent are asked to complete an online survey at
residents will be asked to select which county borough they live in. The deadline for responses is 20 May.
Newport residents unable to complete the survey online are asked to contact Ross Cudlipp on 01633 414847 or email: Ross.Cudlipp@newport.gov.uk
Residents should include their postcode when responding so that local authorities can understand where most demand exists. This information will be used as evidence to support funding opportunities.
