Maintenance work Saturday 8 June 2019
Public access PCs and library self-service kiosks will be unavailable for use because of planned maintenance work.
Staff will be able to issue and return books offline and there will be limited access to the catalogue for requests and renewals.
Items due back this weekend will have their due date extended by one week to minimise any disruption.
Every library in Newport has PCs for public use which library members can use free for up to two hours a day.
The PCs have USB ports, internet access and accessibility features.
The following libraries also have a free Wi-Fi hotspot for public use:
If you are a member of Newport Libraries you can book a PC by asking a member of staff at any Newport library or by visiting the MYPC bookings page.
All Newport libraries have a black and white A4 printer and prints can be made for a small charge.
Central library has four PCs attached to A3 colour scanners which are free to use.
It can be helpful to book these machines in advance to make sure you have access to a scanner.
Newport Libraries offers a range of IT support sessions.
